Job Description

  • Assist Chief Steward in overseeing daily stewarding operations and staff management
  • Ensure high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety compliance
  • Coordinate with kitchen and restaurant teams for smooth service operations
  • Implement and maintain inventory control systems for stewarding supplies and equipment
  • Assist in developing cost-saving measures and departmental budgets
  • Handle guest complaints promptly and professionally
  • Conduct regular inspections of food service areas to maintain hygiene standards

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management with 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • In-depth knowledge of food and beverage operations with food safety certification
  • Proficiency in hospitality management software and inventory control systems
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
  • Experience in luxury hotels or cruise ships preferred
