Job Description

Job Title:  Arrival Ambassador (Bellperson) | Full-time

Hourly Rate:  $16.23

Always lending a helping hand with a smile. As an Arrival Ambassador, your passion for the property, and your respect for our guests’ belongings will ensure that our guests Feel Welcome as soon as they arrive.

What you will be doing:

  • Meet and greet guests and help them with their luggage upon arrival and departure
  • Timely delivery of guests’ luggage, messages and any other items for delivery within the property
  • Assist in providing parking options and safely park any valet vehicles
  • Act as a driver for the Hotel Shuttle(s) when required
  • Check service stations for necessary equipment and set up: water, lei, towels, etc. as needed
  • Maintaining communication of up to date, accurate information between guests, staff, management and our partners on a daily basis
  • Able to share information about the resort and activities, island activities, restaurants, and other information as it pertains to guests
  • Must be able to adhere to the State of Hawaii food handling safety standards.
  • Actively participate in monthly departmental sales promotions
  • Organize time so all work is completed according to shift demand
  • Maintain atmosphere of aloha spirit by providing engaging, personalized, timely, and efficient service to our discerning guests
  • Focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
  • Be knowledgeable of the island, our resort and resort offerings in order to be our guests’ trusted guide

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

  • Service focused personality is essential; customer related experience an asset
  • Must have and be able to maintain a valid Driver's License
  • Must provide clean Driver's Abstract
  • Must be able to operate a manual shift vehicle
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional presentation
  • Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
