Job Description

GENERAL DUTIES:

  •  Assist the Finance & Accounting Department in the smooth functioning of daily accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Income Audit and General Cashier activities; perform basic accounting and administrative tasks while ensuring accuracy, proper documentation and timely completion of assigned duties.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with basic Accounts Payable duties, including checking invoices, supporting documents and filing.
  • Assist with Income Audit activities, including checking daily revenue records and supporting documentation.
  • Assist the General Cashier with basic cash handling, cash counting and reconciliation duties.
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate accounting records and files.
  • Assist in preparing basic reports and spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel.
  • Prepare and maintain documents using Microsoft Word and other computer applications.
  • Ensure all accounting documents are properly filed and organized for easy reference.
  • Assist with routine administrative duties within the Finance & Accounting Department.
  • Follow established accounting procedures, company policies and internal controls.
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial and company information.
  • Perform any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor or management.

 


Qualifications

 

  • Minimum GCE ‘O’ level education

  • Read, write, speak English fluently
