Job Description

Accountant encompasses a crucial financial management function to ensure the residences' smooth operations and adherence to accounting standards. The Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and managing budgets. They collaborate closely with various departments to monitor revenue, expenses, and profitability, providing valuable insights for strategic decision-making. Additionally, the Accountant ensures compliance with tax regulations, oversees payroll processes, and conducts audits to safeguard the hotel's financial integrity.


  1. Education: A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  2. Relevant Experience: Experience in accounting and financial management roles is essential. Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis is highly valued. Candidates with prior experience in the hospitality industry is preferred.
  3. Technology Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems is important. Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. Strong Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting are required. 
  4. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and provide insights for decision-making. They should be able to solve complex accounting issues, reconcile discrepancies, and implement effective controls. 
  5. Communication and Teamwork: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for collaborating with internal teams, management, and external stakeholders. The ability to work effectively in a team environment, interact with colleagues from diverse backgrounds, and provide financial guidance to non-financial professionals is important. 
  6. Attention to Detail and Ethical Standards: Strong attention to detail is crucial for accurate financial reporting and adherence to regulatory requirements. Accountants should demonstrate a high level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical standards in handling financial information and maintaining confidentiality.
