We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tailor to join our team in Cairo, Egypt. As a Tailor in our organization, you will be responsible for creating, altering, and repairing a wide range of garments to meet our customers' needs and maintain the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.

• Measure clients and assess their garment requirements to ensure proper fit and style
• Create, alter, and repair various types of clothing, including suits, dresses, and formal wear
• Cut, pin, and sew fabric using both hand-sewing techniques and sewing machines
• Perform fittings and make necessary adjustments to ensure customer satisfaction
• Select appropriate fabrics, threads, and other materials for each project
• Provide expert advice to customers on fabric choices, styles, and garment care
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Stay updated on fashion trends and new tailoring techniques
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow
• Uphold the highest standards of quality and attention to detail in all work

• Advanced knowledge of sewing techniques, including hand sewing and machine sewing
• Proficiency in working with various fabrics, including delicate materials like silk and cashmere
• Expertise in garment construction, alterations, and pattern making
• Ability to take accurate measurements and ensure proper fit
• Skilled in cutting patterns, creating solid seams, and finishing techniques
• Proficient in using and maintaining various sewing machines and tools
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality craftsmanship
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
• Creative problem-solving skills to address unique tailoring challenges
• Customer-focused approach with a professional demeanor
• Minimum of three years of experience in tailoring or a related field preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience in luxury fashion or hospitality settings is a plus
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to stay updated on fashion trends and new tailoring techniques

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to): 

• Constant standing and walking throughout shift.
• Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs.
• Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting.
• Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps.

Visa Requirements: Must be legally permitted to work in Egypt.
