Job Description

  • Develop and Implement Sustainability Strategies: Design and execute comprehensive sustainability programs and initiatives aligned with the hotel's objectives, industry standards and ACCOR/Ennismore guidelines
  • Environmental Compliance: Ensure adherence to environmental regulations and standards, including waste management, energy conservation, water usage, and recycling practices.
  • Resource Management: Monitor resource consumption (e.g., water, electricity, gas) and implement strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal departments, external partners, and suppliers to promote sustainability practices and drive awareness throughout the organization.
  • Ensures that all kitchen & outlets maintain high standards of Food Safety & Hygiene
  • Enhances guest satisfaction by ensuring high standards of food safety & hygiene in food operations
  • Develop, implement, and review health and safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments of hotel operations, facilities, and activities to identify potential hazards and implement measures to mitigate risks.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years' experience in the sector and impeccable knowledge food safety & hygiene regulations and management
  • Thorough knowledge of food safety management system: HACCP, BRC, Occupational Health and Safety Environmental Management System & ISO. Familiar with BIS, GSO, SASO, codex and USDA standards
  • Dubai municipality approved Basic, Intermediate advanced Food hygiene, HACCP awareness, internal auditor trainer/consultant
  • Dubai municipality approved Person in Charge trainer Level 2 & 3
  • High field approved trainer for HACCP level 4, Advanced food hygiene
  • Relevant certifications and practical experience in sustainability initiatives, health, safety, and hygiene management.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and regulatory compliance skills
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations and a commitment to promoting a safe and sustainable work environment
