Job Description

Senior Hotel Accountant

Novotel Sydney International Airport (Charter Hall FLK Funds Management Ltd) is hiring for a senior hotel accountant to join our team and play a key role in managing our financial operations. Reporting to the Financial Controller this is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated professional ready for the next step in their career. As a key member of the Finance team, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Accountable for all financial information sent to GM, Owners and Accor Head Office.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and monthly forecasting reports.
  • Oversee weekly Hotel Payroll.
  • Oversee day to day operational accounts; AP/AR.
  • Responsible for month-end closing process and all financial reporting.
  • Preparation of Balance Sheet and Bank Account reconciliation.

Qualifications

Your experience and skills should include:

  • Proven experience in Hotel Accounts AP/AR and Payroll systems.
  • Understanding of both financial and operational aspects within Hotel.
  • Effective time management skills, with the ability to coordinate numerous tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong ability to communicate and influence operational leaders.

Salary package $82,000.00 per annual plus 11.5% superannuation is offered.

Parental Leave

As staff member, you will receive 10 weeks paid parental leave at full salary for primary carer in addition to government-funded parental leave. Part-time and casual equivalent available on a pro-rata basis. In addition, Continuation of superannuation payments while on paid parental leave will remain.
