Job Description
ibis Sydney Barangaroo is seeking a Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our dedicated and dynamic team. You will play a key role in creating memorable guest experiences by ensuring our rooms are clean, comfortable, and welcoming.
What you will be doing:
- Prepare cleaning carts with daily supplies and maintain storerooms in a clean and orderly manner.
- Follow daily assignments to clean vacant and occupied guest rooms to hotel standards.
- Replenish guest supplies and in-room materials according to room type standards.
- Perform tasks and projects as assigned by housekeeping management.
- Respect guests’ privacy and belongings while delivering exceptional service.
- Use and maintain equipment carefully, reporting any defects as outlined in the procedures manual.
- Communicate clearly and provide assistance to guests as required.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Ability to work flexible hours and shifts as required including weekends.
- Physically fit and comfortable working independently.
- Able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions, communicate clearly with colleagues and guests.
- Clean and professional appearance.
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience, preferably within the hotel industry, is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail with an uncompromising approach to cleanliness and standards.
- Friendly, customer-focused attitude with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Proactive and positive approach to interactions with colleagues and guests.
- Must have full working rights in Australia.
