Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Revenue Manager is responsible for developing and implementing pricing strategies, distribution tactics, and inventory control to maximize total hotel revenue. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in luxury hotel revenue management, a strong analytical mindset, and a proactive approach to market trends and business intelligence.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute revenue management strategies for rooms and ancillary revenue streams.
  • Analyze historical data, market trends, and demand forecasts to optimize pricing and inventory.
  • Monitor competitor performance and industry trends to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Manage OTA relationships and ensure optimal performance on all distribution channels.
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales, Marketing, Reservations, and Front Office teams to align revenue goals with operational execution.
  • Prepare and present detailed revenue performance reports and forecasts to senior management.
  • Oversee and optimize channel mix, rate parity, and booking patterns.
  • Utilize revenue management systems (RMS), PMS, and BI tools to guide strategy and decision-making.
  • Lead the monthly forecast and budget processes in conjunction with finance and operations.
  • Ensure compliance with brand and corporate pricing policies.

 

    Compensation: $85,000 - $90,000 per annum plus bonuses

    Qualifications

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty exceptionally. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.     • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Revenue Manager in a 4- or 5-star hotel environment, preferably luxury segment
    • Strong understanding of revenue management principles, distribution strategies, and market segmentation
    • Proficient in IDeaS RMS, Opera Cloud PMS, Oracle ORS, TARS, and channel managers strongly preferred
    • Excel and data analysis skills; experience with Power BI or similar tools is a plus.
    • Strong commercial acumen and ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred
    • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Forward thinker with aptitude for optimizing hotel GOP
    • Dynamic, confident attitude with ability to work independently
    • Effectively engage with team members, corporate, asset management, and ownership partners
    • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets
