Duties and Responsibilities:
- Hands on management of day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including opening and closing procedures, shift scheduling, and staff management;
- Implement strategies to enhance the overall guest experience;
- Develop and manage the restaurant budget, closely monitoring expenses and revenue to achieve financial targets;
- Analyse financial reports, sales data, and other key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase profitability;
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop innovative menus.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food handling guidelines, and licensing requirements;
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies and ingredients, and manage costs to maximize profitability;
- Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing team of employees;
- Handling customer inquiries or complaints promptly and professionally.

Are you an experienced Restaurant Manager who leads from the ground, maintains the strictest high standards, whilst they have fun doing it? Do you have what it takes to oversee all aspect of the “front of house” floor operations and manage this dining destination as if it was your own?
- You know how to talk business and its key metrics.
- You are present to support your team when the action is ON. If you are our candidate, you know exactly when this happens.
- Previous experience as a Restaurant and/or Bar Manager (minimum 1 year) in a high-end restaurant or similar premium setting. Hatted restaurant experience is highly desired.
- Strong communication and leadership skills in a diverse and multicultural environment.
- Solid understanding of labor management.
- Capacity to build and grow an engaged team.
- Certificate in Hospitality Management or equivalent experience;
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service and create memorable experiences;
- Sound knowledge of food and beverage operations, including food and beverage menu development;
- A good understanding of European food and beverage is a plus
- Demonstrate a human-centered mindset;
- WSET Level 2 certification, that validates a strong wine and spirits knowledge is highly regarded.
- Holds a RP Badge, or is willing and able to obtain this.
- Candidates must hold full time working rights in Australia
