Reservations Agent - Casual

Swissôtel Sydney is a premium five-star hotel located in the heart of Sydney’s business, retail and entertainment district. 

The hotel boasts 369 beautifully appointed guest rooms and suites offering contemporary living for the modern business and leisure traveller. Our facilities include the award-winning spa centre Spa and Sport, a restaurant and lobby bar, fully equipped fitness centre, outdoor swimming pool as well as eight state-of-the-art meeting rooms including a heritage-listed ballroom seating up to 400 people. 

Responsibilities and duties (but not limited to):

• Managing all communication regarding reservations for the Hotel

• Handle all enquiries relating to bookings via email or phone

• Exhibit high sales performance and maximise all sales leads by ensuring close of sale, and up-selling and cross-selling opportunities

• Maintain a positive selling approach to maximise yield in both occupancy and rates

• Administration of reservations, including maintaining a precise filing system

• The ability to demonstrate and deliver luxury service

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong organisational, customer service and problem solving skills

• Ability to multi-task and manage prioritising demands

• Working knowledge of Microsoft applications and ability to navigate company systems and programs

• Ability to work onsite on casual basis

• Have full working right in Australia

• We are particularly looking for someone available for casual temporary coverage, 2–3 days per week, with working hours 9:00 AM–5:00 PM or 10:00 AM–6:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

• Previous experience in a similar role and familiarity with Opera PMS or Opera Cloud are not mandatory but will be advantageous
