Property Manager

Purpose 

As a Property Manager, you will play an integral role within our Realty & Asset Management team, overseeing a diverse portfolio while delivering outstanding service to property owners, tenants and contractors. Acting as a key point of contact, you will manage communications with professionalism and efficiency, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and positive client experiences.

Take the next step in your Property Management career with Accor Realty as an Onsite Property Manager based at The Chen in Box Hill. This Monday to Friday role offers excellent work-life balance with no weekend or after-hours requirements. The portfolio consists exclusively of apartment properties, meaning there are no lawns, pools or fences to maintain. You’ll also benefit from strong team support, including a dedicated Leasing Consultant and Trust Account Manager.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional portfolio management, maintaining strong communication with stakeholders and ensuring all activities comply with current legislative requirements. You will also work collaboratively with the Leasing Consultant and fellow Property Managers to support daily operational needs.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with property owners, tenants and prospective investors
  • Respond promptly to enquiries relating to property performance, rental returns, accounts and tenancy matters
  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant legislation, rental procedures and Accor management services
  • Conduct routine property inspections and coordinate maintenance and repair works
  • Manage rental documentation, tenancy compliance, and accurate owner and tenant records
  • Attend VCAT hearings as required

 

Skills & Experience

  • Current Real Estate Licence (full licence preferred)
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Property Management
  • Experience with Reapit/Console Cloud, REIForms, and Snug is beneficial
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to effectively manage competing priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to confidently navigate difficult conversations
  • High level of administrative accuracy and strong attention to detail
