Qualifications

What we’re looking for…

  • You’re looking for a place where you can be you; no clones in chef whites here.
  • A genuine passion for food, hospitality and working with fresh ingredients.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop your skills.
  • You’re not precious. We leave our egos at the door and help get things done.
  • You’re up for doing things differently and trying (almost) everything once.
  • You enjoy working as part of a team and understand that great kitchens are built on collaboration.
  • You’re able to stay calm, focused and organised in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • You take pride in your work and care about the quality of the food you produce.
  • You have good attention to detail and understand the importance of consistency.
  • You’re willing to listen, learn and take direction from senior members of the kitchen team.
  • You understand the importance of food hygiene, health and safety, or are keen to learn.
  • Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is a bonus, but not essential – we’re looking for the right attitude and a willingness to learn.
  • You want to be part of a team that works hard, supports each other and has fun along the way.
  • Most importantly, you bring your personality, energy and curiosity to the kitchen every day.
