Job Description

  • Develop creative pastry and bakery menus across all dining occasions, including breakfast, lunch, à la carte, dinner service, Chocolate Hour, Beyond Meetings coffee breaks, and all banquet and event offerings
  • Create and deliver memorable, visually refined pastry and bakery products aligned with Mövenpick’s Signature Chocolate Hour standards
  • Demonstrate advanced bakery and pastry techniques at an artistic level with exceptional attention to detail
  • Plan and manage pastry and bakery operations effectively to ensure smooth daily execution
  • Assign and delegate tasks smartly to the team, ensuring efficiency, accountability, and consistent quality
  • Lead, train, and develop the pastry and bakery team to enhance skills, creativity, and performance
  • Ensure strong teamwork, clear communication, and effective task delegation within the pastry section
  • Enforce strict compliance with HACCP and food safety standards at all times
  • Consistently deliver high-quality, detail-driven products that elevate the overall guest experience

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a premium or luxury hotel environment.
  • Graduate in Culinary Arts or Pastry & Baking or relevant
  • Advanced pastry and bakery techniques with strong artistic presentation skills
  • High creativity with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to develop innovative and memorable pastry concepts across multiple dining formats
  • Strong knowledge of and strict adherence to HACCP standards (mandatory)
  • Ability to communicate effectively in Thai
