Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Learning and Development Manager to join our organization in Swissotel Al Hamrah Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive training and development programs that enhance employee performance and drive organizational success. You will work collaboratively across departments to identify learning needs, develop innovative training solutions, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.

  • Design and develop customized training programs and learning initiatives that align with organizational goals and address identified skill gaps across all levels of the organization
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments and performance analyses to determine training requirements and measure the effectiveness of learning interventions
  • Manage the full lifecycle of training programs, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and delivery of both in-person and virtual learning experiences
  • Utilize learning management systems (LMS) and other training technologies to deliver, track, and evaluate employee development programs
  • Collaborate with department heads and senior leadership to understand business objectives and translate them into targeted development strategies
  • Create and maintain training documentation, materials, and resources that support employee onboarding, skill development, and career advancement
  • Monitor training budgets and manage resources efficiently to maximize the impact of learning and development initiatives
  • Evaluate training program outcomes through assessments, feedback surveys, and performance metrics to ensure continuous improvement
  • Stay current with industry best practices, emerging learning technologies, and instructional design methodologies
  • Foster a supportive learning environment that encourages employee engagement, knowledge sharing, and professional growth
  • Coordinate with external training vendors and subject matter experts to supplement internal training capabilities

Qualifications

**Required Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in learning and development, training management, or talent development roles
  • Proven expertise in instructional design and training program development
  • Strong proficiency with learning management systems (LMS) and training delivery platforms
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze training needs and measure program effectiveness using data-driven approaches
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to diverse audiences
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build collaborative relationships across all organizational levels
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with training software and tools
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and employee development best practices

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Professional certification in learning and development (CIPD, ATD, or equivalent)
  • Experience with virtual and blended learning delivery methods
  • Background in organizational development or change management
  • Experience working in multinational or culturally diverse organizations
  • Familiarity with talent management and succession planning initiatives
  • Knowledge of performance management systems and their integration with learning strategies
  • Experience with learning analytics and reporting tools
