Laundry Manager

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Laundry Manager to join our team in Phu Quoc, Vietnam. As the Laundry Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our laundry operations, ensuring high-quality service for our guests and maintaining optimal efficiency in the department.

• Supervise and train laundry staff in day-to-day operations, conducting daily briefings and performance assessments
• Ensure guest laundry, dry cleaning, and pressing services meet department standards and procedures
• Manage guest requests promptly and efficiently, maintaining a customer-focused approach
• Oversee accurate record-keeping of guest and staff laundry lists
• Process departmental paperwork and ensure timely and accurate billing
• Monitor and maintain laundry equipment, coordinating with Engineering for repairs and maintenance
• Implement and enforce proper equipment usage and safety procedures among team members
• Maintain strict control and records of staff laundry items
• Collaborate with the Executive Housekeeper on staff attendance, performance, and department goals
• Develop and implement strategies to improve laundry operations efficiency and quality
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the laundry department

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar laundry management role
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
• Proven leadership and team management abilities
• In-depth knowledge of laundry operations, equipment, and best practices
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and quality control
• Proficiency in time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
• Experience with inventory management and budget control
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations in laundry operations
• Proficiency in using computer systems for record-keeping and reporting
• Ability to speak other languages, particularly Vietnamese, is a plus
