Job Description
We are seeking a professional and customer-focused In Room Dine Waiter to join our hospitality team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests by providing attentive service, ensuring food quality, and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism. As an In Room Dine Waiter, you will be the face of our organization during intimate guest dining moments, requiring both efficiency and genuine care for guest satisfaction.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests in their rooms while providing knowledgeable recommendations
- Deliver meals and beverages promptly while maintaining proper presentation and temperature standards
- Set up and arrange dining areas in guest rooms according to established protocols and guest preferences
- Respond to guest requests and special dietary requirements with professionalism and flexibility
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times
- Process payments and handle billing inquiries with accuracy and discretion
- Maintain clear communication with kitchen and housekeeping staff to coordinate seamless service
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience and address concerns immediately
- Keep dining areas clean and organized, removing dishes and clearing tables promptly
- Follow all company policies and procedures while representing the organization with integrity
Qualifications
- Excellent customer service skills with a genuine commitment to guest satisfaction
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities in English; additional languages are a plus
- Proven ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment
- Exceptional attention to detail regarding food presentation, order accuracy, and guest preferences
- Solid knowledge of food and beverage service standards and etiquette
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trays and service items
- Professional demeanor, appearance, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple guest requests simultaneously while maintaining composure
- Previous experience in food service, room service, or hospitality roles (preferred)
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and hospitality management software (preferred)
- Food safety and hygiene certification or willingness to obtain one (preferred)
- Knowledge of Saudi Arabian hospitality customs and service expectations (preferred)
