SO/ Sotogrande, a luxurious hotel located in the beautiful Sotogrande, Spain, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor Trainee to join our team. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start their career in hospitality management and gain hands-on experience in supervising housekeeping operations.

• Assist in overseeing daily housekeeping activities and ensuring high standards of cleanliness throughout the hotel
• Learn to coordinate and prioritize room assignments for the housekeeping staff
• Help maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and linens
• Participate in training sessions to develop supervisory skills and learn about hotel operations
• Assist in conducting room inspections to ensure quality standards are met
• Support the housekeeping team in maintaining a safe and organized work environment
• Learn to address guest concerns and requests related to housekeeping services
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth hotel operations
• Assist in implementing and maintaining housekeeping policies and procedures
• Contribute to the development of schedules and work plans for the housekeeping team

• High school diploma or equivalent; education in hospitality management or a related field is preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent time management abilities
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
• Problem-solving aptitude and ability to work well under pressure
• Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced hospitality environment
• Basic knowledge of hospitality industry standards and practices
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not mandatory
• Physical ability to perform tasks related to housekeeping duties
• Fluency in Spanish; knowledge of English is a plus
