Our 211 dynamic rooms allow the guest to sleep with comfort, while enjoying affordable culinary selections at sTREATs Restaurant. The hotel is 5 minutes to Jakarta Kota Train Station, 10 minutes to JIExpo Kemayoran or Ancol Dreamland and 30 minutes to Soekarno-Hatta International Airport. For meeting and event, we provide 3 Milky Way rooms that can be combined into a large ballroom for 500 delegates.


Job Description

  • Conduct daily briefings with staff at floor level. Manage and supervise all tasks of his/her team.
  • Ensure cleanliness of guest rooms, guest room balconies, guest corridors, linen rooms and housekeeping pantries according to standards and procedures.
  • Supervise public areas.
  • Replenish guest supplies and ensure that guests requests are promptly attended to.
  • Attend to reports on damage or malfunction in hotel rooms.
  • Maintain equipment in proper state of cleanliness.
  • Maintain a section floor report.
  • Conduct regular room checklists.
  • Report unusual behavior/activities on floors to Executive Housekeeper.
  • Record room status in allocated section accurately.
  • Ensures that all necessary tools, supplies and equipment are available and maintained for daily operation.
  • To prepare monthly report within the assigned area, planning and assessing improvement in standards, goals and costs.
  • Ensures that all staff behavior, personal grooming and service skills are in line with the hotel’s standards.
  • Assist Executive Housekeeper in assessing team members’ attendance and performance.

Qualifications

  • Secondary / High school education
  • Additional certification(s) from a reputable Hospitality Management school will be an advantage
  • Good oral proficiency in English language
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar capacity
  • Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal and training skills
  • Results and service oriented with an eye for details
  • Ability to multi-task, work well in stressful & high-pressure situations
  • A team player & builder
  • A motivator & self-starter
  • Well-presented and professionally groomed at all times
