We are hiring for a Painter / Handyperson to join us on Part Time Basis. As a painter, you will be responsible for preparing and painting various surfaces  and rooms. The successful candidate will possess a high level of attention to detail and take pride in producing quality work.

In addition, you will be responsible for addressing a range of maintenance issues including guest requests, back of house areas and general safety. 

Key Responsibilities:

 general maintenance including painting of guest rooms and back of house areas; 

• responding to a range of guest requests as a first priority; 
• investigating and actioning jobs assigned to you in a timely manner; 
• completing tasks as part of the preventative maintenance program; 
• encouraging the effective use of energy and water resources.

 To be successful in this role you will have:

• superior problem solving skills; 
• a flexible work attitude; 
• excellent customer service skills;  
• a strong desire to work in a service focused environment with a pro-active approach;
• strong communication skills (verbal, written, and computer);
• knowledge of Work Health and Safety regulations;
• self-motivated approach and interest to developing yourself through learning.
