- Store luggage for the guests in the luggage room.
- Ensure precise counting of group luggage upon arrival and departure.
- To ensure the timely and efficient transfer of luggage to and from the guest’s room
- Plan correct and fast distribution of luggage for groups and crews on the basis of rooming lists provided by front desk.
- Maintain tidiness of the front of the house and luggage storage room.
- Is responsible for receiving, distributing, sending and holding mail and messages.
- Provide room orientation when escorting checked in guests
- Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
- Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way

- Previous customer related experience an asset
- Excellent oral & written communication and interpersonal skills; Spoken English and Japanese is mandatory and additional languages (Chinese) an asset.
- Exceptional time management and multi-tasking skills.

- Occasional lifting and carrying up to 20 kg
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment

- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
- This is a 24/7 operation and all personnel are expected to adjust work hours to the needs of the business. Some position will include late nights, weekend and holiday work.
- Position requires continuous standing and walking throughout the shift. Strong knowledge of computer systems required, OPERA (or similar) and additional languages are an asset.
