Novotel Barossa Valley Resort is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of this picturesque resort, nestled in the heart of Australia’s premier wine region. As a brand ambassador for Novotel, you will bring your passion for hospitality, strong operational expertise, and solid commercial and financial acumen to the role. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing a dynamic team, driving exceptional guest experiences, and achieving business success. As General Manager you will be responsible for:
- Leading, inspiring and mentoring a driven team of Heartists® to enable their individual growth and help drive the overall success of the business
- Developing and implementing strategic plans to drive revenue, improve operational efficiency, and enhance the overall guest journey experience
- Supporting all departments in the achievement of operational targets
- Overseeing sales and marketing to maximise occupancy and revenue.
- Championing employee engagement, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment for all our Heartists
A qualification in hotel management, hospitality management, commerce or business administration would be highly regarded.
About You
- Over 5 years of senior leadership experience in hotels, with a strong focus on operations and achieving commercial success.
- Proven business and financial acumen, including revenue management and budgeting, with a track record of driving profitability in Rooms and F&B outlets.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated experience in coaching and inspiring teams.
- Strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial spirit, personal integrity, and commitment to Accor values and culture.
- A passion for Food and Beverage with a proven track record of delivering experiences
