Job Description

As Precinct General Manager, you will have full strategic and operational leadership of the Pullman, Novotel and ibis Sydney Olympic Park Hotels. This is a role for someone who leads from the front: present on the floor when the events are roaring, sharp in the boardroom when ownership wants answers, and energising to a team that needs to deliver night after night.

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading the overall strategic direction and day-to-day management of all three hotels across the precinct
  • Driving commercial performance — maximising revenue, yield and long-term profitability across all operational departments
  • Building and nurturing key stakeholder relationships, including hotel ownership, Sydney Olympic Park Authority, event organisers, and major corporate partners
  • Overseeing seamless event operations coordination, ensuring the precinct delivers an exceptional and consistent guest experience across the full spectrum of events — from intimate conferences to major international concerts and sporting finals
  • Developing, inspiring and retaining a high-performing team; building a culture that reflects the Accor Heartist philosophy and makes this precinct a genuine destination for top hospitality talent

About You

  • Proven experience as a General Manager, ideally with leadership across a hub or cluster of hotels
  • Commercially sharp, with full P&L accountability and a track record of driving revenue growth and strong financial performance
  • A strategic thinker who translates vision into execution — someone who sets the direction, builds the plan, and holds the team accountable to outcomes
  • A history of strong, trusted ownership relationships built on transparency, results and genuine partnership
  • An instinctive people leader — someone who develops talent, builds culture, and brings out the best in a team of experienced hospitality professionals
  • Experienced in managing complexity and scale, with the ability to juggle competing priorities across a large, multi-faceted operation without losing sight of the detail
  • Deeply committed to guest experience — not just as a value, but as a standard you personally set and hold
  • A genuine passion for sports, entertainment and events — this precinct runs on big moments, and you would not have it any other way

Qualifications

  • A degree in hotel management, hospitality, business or commerce is well regarded — though your experience and track record will carry the most weight.
