Job Description

Step into the world of elevated hospitality as our Front Desk All Rounder and become the embodiment of refined service at Sofitel. In this exclusive lounge environment, you will be the welcoming face of our signature luxury experience, curating personalised moments, anticipating every detail, and ensuring each guest journey unfolds with elegance from arrival to farewell.

With warmth and sophistication, you will deliver seamless check-ins and check-outs, maintain meticulous guest profiles and accounts, and respond thoughtfully to every request. Your ability to anticipate needs, communicate effortlessly across departments, and remain attentive to VIP arrivals and special preferences will ensure a flawless and highly personalised experience for every guest. Every interaction, whether in person or over the phone, will reflect care, efficiency and a genuine sense of hospitality.

Confident in your product knowledge, you will thoughtfully promote hotel facilities and experiences, enhancing each stay with intuitive recommendations. By completing daily checklists, managing follow-ups with precision and upholding Sofitel’s exceptional service standards, you will help create an atmosphere that feels both exclusive and inviting, where every detail is considered and every guest feels truly valued.


Qualifications

About You
You are a passionate hospitality professional who finds joy in creating meaningful, memorable moments for every guest. With a refined attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to excellence, you take pride in delivering service that feels both seamless and sincerely personal. Your experience within a Front Office or guest service environment has shaped your ability to anticipate needs, remain composed under pressure and ensure every interaction reflects genuine care and sophistication.

A confident and articulate communicator, you connect effortlessly with guests and colleagues alike, building rapport with warmth and authenticity. You bring strong knowledge of the Opera Front Office system, from reservations and arrivals to cashiering and guest account management, and present yourself with the polish and elegance synonymous with the Sofitel brand.

Flexible and dependable, you are comfortable working a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays, embracing the dynamic nature of luxury hospitality.

You also hold a current RSA certification and full Australian working rights, allowing you to work with us without restriction.
