Mercure Gold Coast Resort is an oasis located amongst expansive gardens on the Gold Coast. Overlooking the Oasis pool and the ninth hole of the Palm Meadows Golf Course, both The Green Dining restaurant and The Cart bar welcome our guests, in addition to extensive conference facilities hosting a range of exciting events.

We are excited for new Food & Beverage Attendants to join our fast paced and dynamic Food & Beverage department just in time for summer, with the rare opportunities for those specifically wanting roles in:

• Breakfast Waiter
• Barista
• Bartender

PART TIME AND CASUAL POSITIONS AVAILABLE.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Delivering warm and friendly service while working across The Green Dining, The Car bar, Conference & Events, and Oasis Pool Bar.
• Order taking while maximising sales opportunities through knowledge of product and suggestive selling,
• Work as part of a focused team, living the culture of guest passion and excellent service.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Excellent communication skills and a high standard of grooming and personal presentation,
• Previous customer service or hospitality experience with a friendly, guest focused attitude,
• Availability and flexibility to work shifts across Monday to Sunday including early mornings and late nights and Public Holidays,
  • A specific need to be available to work across the upcoming December and January period,
• Currently hold, or able to obtain a QLD Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate,
• Experience within a hotel or resort restaurant, bar or banqueting department(s) will be highly regarded,
• Unlimited work rights in Australia. The Resort is unable to offer Sponsorship for this position.
