Batman's Hill on Collins is a 4-star Accor hotel in Melbourne, offering an ideal city stay for corporate, leisure and group travel guests. We are conveniently located in the heart of Melbourne's CBD, right opposite Southern Cross Station with easy access to public transport. Along with 190 guest rooms, we offer our guests and visitors a restaurant, lounge bar, in-room dining, and a fully equipped conference centre with multiple function spaces.

Are you looking for a casual role as a Food and Beverage Attendant or Kitchenhand? If you have a friendly and outgoing personality, enjoy creating great experiences for guests and love working in a small team, we would like to hear from you.  Demonstrated experience in a hospitality environment, working rights in Australia, and the ability to manage early starts from 6am are required.

• Providing food and beverage service to guests in our restaurants, bar and conference spaces 
• Knowing the menu, ensuring we meet special dietary needs or preferences, and making recommendations and suggestions
• Communicating with other departments to ensure the highest level of guest service is maintained
• Maintaining clean and safe workspaces and guest areas and ensuring food safety requirements are followed

What we are looking for

• Great communication skills & presentation and for F&B Attendants, confidence to engage with guests
• A genuine interest in food and beverage as well as in our local Melbourne area
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
• Experience in a food and beverage venue is preferable, but a passion for providing great guest experiences is what will really make you stand out!

• The availability and flexibility to work various rostered shifts, including early mornings (from 6am), late evenings (up to 11pm) and on weekends and public holidays
• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol and Food Handler qualifications (or prepared to obtain)
• Knowledge of H+L point of sale system would be an advantage, however not mandatory 
• You must have current working rights in Australia.  Students and Working Holiday Visa holders are encouraged to apply
