Job Description

FINANCIAL CONTROLLER | SWISSÔTEL Mariánské Lázně

Swissôtel Mariánské Lázně is bringing a top-tier hotel concept to the Czech Republic, combining Swiss precision with exceptional hospitality. We are proud to be the first and only hotel in the country under the prestigious Swissôtel brand and are currently seeking a strategically minded and experienced FINANCIAL CONTROLLER who can master the numbers and help shape the direction of the entire hotel.

We are opening a premium hotel in October 2025 with 125 rooms and suites. The property will feature the 105 Dining Lounge, The Bohemian Bar, our SwissCafé, and the rooftop “Pod Oblaky” Lifestyle Lounge. Guests will also enjoy three conference rooms and a boardroom. One of the hotel’s highlights will be the Pürovel Spa & Sport, combining Swiss precision with the spa heritage of Mariánské Lázně. This unique opportunity merges the international reputation of Swissôtel with the tradition of a world-renowned spa destination.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Comprehensive financial management of the hotel - responsible for managing the accounting and purchasing departments and overseeing the IT agenda. This role includes designing and implementing effective financial and operational controls across all departments of the hotel.
  • Budgeting, forecasting, and reporting – development of the annual budget, monthly forecasts, and financial statements to guide strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Strategic financial analysis – delivering clear, data-driven insights that support executive-level decisions at both the hotel and corporate level.
  • Cost control and operational efficiency – continuous monitoring of cost structures and identification of opportunities to optimize financial performance across all functions.
  • Compliance and standards assurance – ensuring strict adherence to USALI principles, Accor internal policies, and all relevant legal and regulatory frameworks.
  • Cash flow management and contingency planning – proactively managing liquidity and developing financial scenarios to mitigate risk in uncertain situations.

Qualifications

Who we’re looking for:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, controlling, or accounting, ideally in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, structure processes, and support other departments in financial awareness.
  • Professional-level English communication – internal communication is conducted in English.
  • Advantageous: familiarity with USALI standards and experience in a premium or international hotel brand environment.
