Requirements:

  • The financial controller must know and apply in practice: Legislative and regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan regulating the activities of the Partnership;
  • The financial controller must have the following professional skills and abilities: Ability to work in a team and be a leader Good management and organizational skills Advanced knowledge of accounting, finance and hospitality principles and practices;

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with all points relating to relations with the owner in accordance with the management agreement. Monitor compliance with hotel and accounting policies and internal regulations, official requirements and contractual obligations (including obligations under the Management Agreement), using internal controls, audit and security procedures, avoiding deviations and informing the General Manager and appropriate regional management to protect the hotel's assets.

  • Monitor the financial and economic activities of the Partnership in accordance with Accor policies and the Focus program. Know and apply Accor group policies, standards and initiatives, both relevant to talent management and of general application.

  • Constantly improve the professionalism of your department employees: • teach the basics of working in the hospitality industry; • organize Certification: train new employees in basic professional rules, familiarize them with the procedures and standards of the department and the hotel, develop guest service skills; • systematically check the professional knowledge of employees of your department;

A candidate who has a higher education, is fluent in English and has experience in this position is accepted for the position of Financial Controller.

  • Carry out general management and planning of the work of the Financial Department in accordance with the current legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and internal regulatory documents of the Partnership. Together with the Deputy Chief Accountant, exercise control and be responsible for the work of the primary accounting department.

  • Represent on behalf of the hotel management in all government, public and other organizations on issues within its competence. Provide short and long term planning and daily operations in the Finance Department. Prepare and implement hotel budget and goals, and manage within these approved plans. Be responsible for their compliance.

  • Monitor the procurement process carried out in the Information Technology Department and the Purchasing Department. Participate in the general management of the hotel as a member of the hotel administration. Establish, coordinate and administer adequate planning to control operations.
