As Financial Controller, you’ll work closely with the General Manager and Executive Leadership Team to support the resort's financial performance and commercial success.

You’ll lead the property’s financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, strong financial controls, and clear insights that support strategic and day-to-day decision making.


Job Description

What you'll be doing: 

  • Partner with the GM and leadership team to drive financial performance
  • Cooperate with all departments, offering support on finance matters
  • Deliver financial reports for Accor and key stakeholders
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial planning with confidence and precision
  • Oversee payroll operations, ensuring everything is accurate, compliant, and on time
  • Provide financial guidance on Management Agreements, Owners Corporation matters, and HMA obligations
  • Share insights with the leadership team to boost profitability and performance

Qualifications

What you'll bring to the role: 

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Professional accounting qualification CA, CPA or equivalent
  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline
  • High attention to detail, commercial mindset & strategic thinker 
  • Demonstrated success in a senior finance role within hospitality, hotels or a related industry
  • Knowledgeable in accounting standards, compliance obligations, and statutory reporting
  • Proficiency in accounting and payroll systems; experience with Purchase Plus, Ready-Workforce, and Sun Systems is highly regarded
