Job Description

We're looking for a dynamic and customer-focused F&B Executive to join our team in Chennai, India. In this pivotal role, you'll drive exceptional dining experiences while overseeing the daily operations of our food and beverage outlets. You'll work collaboratively with a talented team to maintain high service standards, maximize revenue opportunities, and create a welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back.   • Supervise and coordinate F&B staff activities to maintain consistent, high-quality service standards across all outlets
  • Greet and seat guests with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a welcoming dining atmosphere
  • Maximize sales opportunities through product knowledge, suggestive selling techniques, and strategic upselling
  • Oversee accurate and efficient processing of guest orders while maintaining service excellence
  • Manage the setup, maintenance, and organization of dining areas, including banquet and special event spaces
  • Conduct regular team briefings and actively participate in departmental meetings to align on goals and initiatives
  • Promote restaurant specialties and signature offerings while ensuring adherence to established service protocols
  • Handle guest feedback and complaints with empathy and professionalism, implementing solutions and escalating issues when necessary
  • Implement, monitor, and maintain rigorous food safety and hygiene standards across all operations
  • Coach, mentor, and train team members to deliver consistent, high-quality service and foster professional development
  • Collaborate seamlessly with kitchen staff and other departments to ensure smooth, efficient service operations
  • Analyze sales data, identify trends, and recommend strategic improvements to increase revenue and operational efficiency
  • Monitor inventory levels, manage stock rotation, and assist in ordering supplies to optimize resource utilization
  • Ensure full compliance with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities and work flexibly to meet operational demands in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of progressive experience in an F&B Executive or similar supervisory role within the hospitality industry
  • Extensive knowledge of food and beverage products, service styles, and current industry trends
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and building strong guest relationships
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with a collaborative approach to problem-solving
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and multitasking capabilities
  • Proficiency in restaurant management software, point-of-sale (POS) systems, and Microsoft Office applications
  • Solid understanding of food safety regulations, hygiene standards, and health code compliance
  • Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and make data-driven decisions
  • Strong financial acumen and experience with revenue management and cost control
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining composure and professionalism
  • Flexible schedule with availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, decisive decisions
  • Passion for the hospitality industry with a genuine commitment to guest satisfaction and operational excellence
  • Experience in staff training, onboarding, and performance management (preferred)
  • Knowledge of local Chennai dining preferences and market dynamics (preferred)
