We’re looking for an outgoing Events Ops Host to join us. If you get a kick out of creating an unforgettable experience for guests, then this is the job for you. Reporting to our Events Ops Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the apartment, dealing with guest’s requests and on the day catering arrangements.

A city so good we had to double down! In 2023 we have opened our second Hoxton in Amsterdam, this time based in the Eastern Docklands where we are lovingly taking the reins of the historic former Lloyd Hotel. This beautiful property features 136 bedrooms, including the introduction of some new rooms categories for the Hox, a large ground floor restaurant and huge outdoor terrace, a new bar and The Apartment – our unique meetings and events concept.

Job Description

What you’ll do…

  • You’re our gatekeeper for our meeting room logistics. You know who’s who and what’s what.
  • Maintain the meeting room area, ensuring all rooms are set up correctly and kept tidy at all times.
  • You keep on top of our meeting room maintenance and ensuring all the rooms are set up correctly, ensuring billing and checking in and out for events are smooth.
  • You make sure the food and beverage in the space is top notch at all times, and our guests have everything they need.
  • You work closely with the rest of the hotel team to ensure you are providing a great experience for our guests, from first contact to when they leave, and beyond.
  • Work with all our teams to make sure we're always busy and help our Events Operations Manager with any requests.
  • You’ll be keeping the drinks flowing, working well with the kitchen team and making sure everything runs like clockwork, so the event goes off without a hitch
