Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Entertainment Co-ordinator to join our team in the beautiful island of Phu Quoc, Vietnam. As the Entertainment Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for planning, organising, and executing a diverse range of entertainment activities for our guests, ensuring memorable experiences that exceed their expectations.

  • Develop and implement innovative entertainment programmes and activities suitable for various age groups and interests
  • Coordinate and oversee daily entertainment schedules, ensuring smooth execution of all planned events
  • Collaborate with other departments to create cohesive guest experiences
  • Recruit, train, and manage entertainment staff, including performers and activity leaders
  • Maintain and manage entertainment equipment and supplies
  • Monitor guest feedback and adapt programmes accordingly to enhance customer satisfaction
  • Manage budgets for entertainment activities and negotiate with external vendors when necessary
  • Promote upcoming events and activities through various channels, including social media
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all entertainment areas
  • Stay updated on local cultural events and incorporate them into the entertainment programme when appropriate

Qualifications

  • Proven experience (2-3 years minimum) in entertainment coordination or similar role within the hospitality or tourism industry
  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or related field (preferred)
  • Excellent event planning and management skills
  • Strong creative abilities with a talent for developing engaging entertainment concepts
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and flexibility in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in time management and multitasking
  • Experience in budgeting and financial planning for entertainment programmes
  • Familiarity with social media marketing and promotion strategies
  • Knowledge of local culture and entertainment trends in Phu Quoc, Vietnam
  • Understanding of the hospitality and tourism industry
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Vietnamese or other languages is a plus
