Primary Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and install electrical systems, including circuits, fixtures, and equipment throughout the property.
• Diagnose electrical malfunctions using test equipment and perform necessary repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, including fire alarm systems and electrical codes.
• Coordinate with all departments to maximise productivity and guest service.
• Manage and develop the electrical team, providing support and motivation.
• Maintain accurate records of materials and equipment, optimising resource utilisation.
• Stay updated on the property's electrical system, including current loads and potential limits for new installations.

• Other Responsibilities

• Be fully conversant with hotel fire & life safety/emergency procedures
• Comply with hotel and department policies and procedures at all times
• Attend all briefings, meetings and trainings as assigned by management
• Report for duty on time wearing clean and complete uniform at all times
• Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times
• Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the Management of the Hotel

• Secondary / High school education
• Trade Certificate or a minimum of 1 year of relevant hands on experience in area of expertise
• Good reading and oral proficiency in English language
