Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Duty Manager to join our team in Cairo, Egypt. As a Duty Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth hotel operations and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

  • Lead and manage all aspects of the front desk, ensuring adherence to service standards and company procedures
  • Handle guest concerns promptly and efficiently, initiating follow-up actions as needed
  • Oversee the Duty Manager safe in accordance with company procedures
  • Collaborate with various departments to balance operational, administrative, and staff needs
  • Provide professional, friendly, and engaging service consistently to all guests
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of customer service throughout the hotel
  • Assist guests with inquiries about hotel facilities and local attractions
  • Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures
  • Manage staff schedules and assignments to ensure optimal coverage
  • Conduct regular property inspections to maintain quality standards
  • Prepare and submit daily reports on hotel operations and guest feedback
  • Train and mentor front desk staff to improve their skills and performance
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance guest satisfaction

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership experience in the hospitality industry
  • Proficiency in Property Management Systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both English and Arabic; additional languages are a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • In-depth knowledge of hotel operations and industry standards
  • Ability to remain calm and courteous while addressing guest concerns
  • Familiarity with local culture and customs in Cairo, Egypt
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Proven track record of working collaboratively in a team environment
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of customer service
