Job Description

As a Duty Manager at SO/ Ras Al Khaimah, part of the All-Inclusive Collection, you will be responsible for overseeing daily hotel operations during your shift, ensuring seamless guest experiences and smooth coordination across departments. You will act as the on-duty authority for guest concerns, operational issues, and team supervision, reflecting the bold, playful, and stylish SO/ brand identity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily operations across all hotel departments during assigned shifts.
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly, ensuring satisfactory resolution and maintaining guest loyalty.
  • Ensure all departments deliver service in line with SO/ brand standards and guest expectations.
  • Conduct regular walkthroughs of the hotel to monitor cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency.
  • Support department heads in managing workflow, staff allocation, and service delivery during peak periods.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction, responding proactively to issues and escalating as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and security standards throughout the hotel.
  • Assist in staff training, mentoring, and performance monitoring to maintain high service levels.
  • Manage VIP guests, special events, and emergency situations with professionalism and discretion.
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents, guest feedback, and operational reports for management review.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, F&B, front office, and other departments to resolve operational challenges efficiently.
  • Uphold professional appearance, grooming, and SO/ brand service philosophy at all times.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Duty Manager or in a supervisory/management role in luxury hotels or resorts.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent guest service orientation with problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Ability to oversee multiple departments and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of hotel operations, health and safety regulations, and service standards.
  • Professional appearance, confident demeanor, and alignment with SO/ brand identity.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are advantageous.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
