We are looking for an inspiring Director of Rooms to bring our premium lifestyle experience to life every day.
Job Description
You’ll lead our Front Office, Housekeeping and Maintenance operations, making sure every arrival, every room, every space and every interaction feels unmistakably Pullman.
You will:
- Be the face of Rooms, visible, hands-on and connected with both guests and colleagues.
- Create a high-energy team culture where people feel trusted, inspired and proud of what they do.
- Champion LQA, brand standards and quality, turning standards into genuine hospitality rather than simply ticking boxes.
- Own operational excellence across Rooms and Maintenance, keeping the hotel safe, well-maintained, efficient and always ready for our guests.
- Collaborating with all hotel departments to meet business objectives, service KPIs, and maintain compliance with brand standards.
- Keep the operation sharp, efficient and commercially strong — from productivity and costs to guest satisfaction and performance.
- Spot opportunities to do things differently, challenge the status quo and bring new ideas to the guest experience.
- Work across the hotel to create a seamless experience that flows from lobby to room and beyond.
- Lead by example and make sure our teams have the confidence, skills and freedom to create memorable moments.
Qualifications
You’re an experienced hotel operator with a passion for lifestyle hospitality, people and quality.
You’re naturally curious, commercially minded and comfortable getting into the detail when it matters. You know your LQA and brand standards, but you also know that a great hotel cannot be run from a checklist.
You bring:
- Around five years of operational experience in an upscale, luxury or lifestyle environment, with at least three years in a leadership role
- Strong Front Office and Housekeeping knowledge.
- A genuine passion for guest experience and service culture.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management and cost control.
- A proven ability to build, inspire and develop high-performing teams.
- Strong commercial and operational instincts.
- Experience with Opera Cloud, AFAS, Optimo, and MS Office
- Energy, personality and the confidence to lead from the front.
- Fluent English and Hungarian knowledge
