Job Description

If you're ready to lead our Food & Beverage team in a role where you can unleash your creativity, inspiring innovation and elevating our offerings to new heights - this opportunity is for you!

  • Be the driving force behind a motivated and empowered team, fostering a positive work environment where every member feels valued, supported, and inspired to excel
  • Orchestrate the culinary symphony across our diverse venues, including Te Kaahu Restaurant, Kuriri Café, Te Kaahu Bar, Room Service, Mini Bar, Executive Lounge, and Conferencing
  • Collaborating closely with our leadership team, you'll drive revenue growth through strategic initiatives and talent development while ensuring an unparalleled guest experience
  • Champion an unwavering commitment to guest satisfaction, ensuring every interaction exceeds expectations and leaves a lasting impression
  • From negotiating contracts to nurturing our Food & Beverage team, you'll be instrumental in delivering memorable dining experiences and exceeding budget targets
  • Capable of managing the pressure of disrupted flights from the nearby Auckland Airport International Terminal, while ensuring the Food & Beverage team is fully supported and equipped to handle unexpected challenges

Qualifications

You will be:

  • A seasoned leader with 5+ years of experience in Food & Beverage operations across 5-star and 4-star hotels, as well as premium dining environments, bringing a strong foundation in high-end service standards and operational excellence
  • Qualified with a Bachelor's degree in Hotel & Tourism, holding both an LCQ (Licence Controller Qualification) and a valid Manager's Certificate
  • Proven in management roles within both hotel and restaurant settings, demonstrating the ability to lead diverse teams, drive performance, and maintain a consistent focus on guest satisfaction
  • Passionate about the hospitality industry, creating a positive and growth-oriented workplace where team members are encouraged to thrive and develop their potential
  • Skilled in budgeting, cost control, and revenue management, with a strong commercial mindset and a track record of achieving financial targets while upholding service quality
  • Proficient in industry-standard systems including Micros, Oracle, SmartRecruiters, TrustYou, Purchase Plus, ResDiary, Zambion and Microsoft Office, ensuring efficient and accurate operational execution
  • Confident in coordinating and overseeing administrative processes, contributing to the smooth and efficient operation of all Food & Beverage functions

Additional Information

This is a Full Time role with guaranteed 40-hours per week, a competitive salary range of $100,000.00 - $105,000.00 and Accors range of Global Benefits.
