Job Description

Mondrian Gold Coast is on the sun-drenched esplanade of the iconic Burleigh Beach. This destination lifestyle precinct is a vision of some of Australia and the world’s most celebrated changemakers, risk takers and creative thinkers.

As a key member of the Executive Commitee, you will partner closely with the GM and senior leaders to drive performance, provide strategic financial insights.

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Review the Resort Day Pack to ensure Resort policies & procedures are adhered to

  • Financial approval of requisitions in Purchase Plus for the Resort

  • Review & approval of journals posted in SUN by the Finance team

  • Authorise and sign all outgoing payments for the Resort in conjunction with the General Manager

  • Oversee and assist with the AR, AP, Payroll & Cashiering functions as required

  • Full oversight of the end of month processes including posting of journals in the SUN accounting system, review of the P&L to ensure all revenue and expenses are coded correctly, reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts

  • Reconciliation of revenue in the accounting system to Opera PMS

  • Review fortnightly payroll, complete payroll system audit and check for Super Stapling

  • Approval of weekly/fortnightly Accounts Payable payment run

  • Oversee weekly payroll productivity meeting

Mondrian Hotels is part of Ennismore, a global hospitality company that is a joint venture with Accor. This is a rare opportunity to join a newly opened Hotel changing the way guests experience Luxury & Lifestyle Accommodation in Australia.


Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior financial position, ideally in hotels

  • A proactive, strategic mindset with a hands-on, pragmatic leadership style

  • CA or CPA qualification with a strong background in financial leadership

  • Exceptional business partnering, stakeholder management and communication skills
