Job Description

We are seeking a visionary and decisive Director of Learning & Development to join our team in Phu Quoc, Vietnam. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative learning strategies that align with our organization's goals and drive employee growth and performance.

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive learning and development strategy that supports the organization's mission, vision, and objectives
  • Lead and inspire a team of L&D professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
  • Design and oversee the implementation of cutting-edge training programs, including e-learning, classroom-based, and blended learning solutions
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to identify skill gaps and create targeted development initiatives
  • Manage the learning and development budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and ROI
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs using data-driven metrics and implement improvements based on findings
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in learning and development, incorporating new methodologies and technologies as appropriate
  • Partner with People & Culture and other departments to integrate L&D initiatives with talent management and succession planning processes
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and learning partners to enhance the organization's training capabilities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in learning and development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Proven track record in strategic planning and execution of large-scale learning initiatives
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, curriculum development, and instructional design
  • Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools
  • Excellent project management, budgeting, and financial management skills
  • Strong data analysis and reporting capabilities to measure training effectiveness and ROI
  • Outstanding presentation and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
  • Experience in talent management and organizational development
  • Familiarity with emerging trends in corporate training and development
  • Experience of working in Vietnam is a must
