Join our dynamic culinary team as a Commis Chef in Ipswich, United Kingdom! We're seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to assist in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests.
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations and food production
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient food service
- Participate in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes
- Follow food safety and hygiene protocols to maintain the highest standards of quality
- Assist in inventory management and stock rotation
- Learn and adapt to new culinary techniques and trends
- Contribute to a positive and team-oriented work environment
- Perform other kitchen duties as assigned by senior chefs
- Passion for culinary arts and a genuine curiosity about food
- Basic culinary skills and knowledge of kitchen operations
- Willingness to learn and try new flavor combinations and cooking techniques
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
