We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Engineer to join our team in Central Jakarta, Indonesia. As the leader of our Engineering department, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of building operations, maintenance, and infrastructure management for our state-of-the-art facility.

• Lead and manage the Engineering team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for all building systems and equipment
• Oversee and coordinate repairs, renovations, and improvement projects
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
• Manage relationships with contractors and vendors for maintenance and repair services
• Implement energy-efficient solutions and sustainable practices to optimize building performance
• Collaborate with other departments to minimize disruptions during maintenance and repair work
• Prepare and manage the department's budget, including forecasting and cost control measures
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address potential issues proactively
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of all maintenance activities and procedures
• Respond to emergency situations and coordinate necessary repairs outside of regular business hours
• Analyze and report on key performance indicators related to building operations and efficiency
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance building systems and processes

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field
• Proven experience (5+ years) in a senior engineering or facilities management role
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively
• In-depth knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety
• Familiarity with Indonesian building regulations and standards
• Excellent project management and organizational skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
• Experience in budget management and cost control
• Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergency situations as needed
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., Certified Facility Manager) are a plus
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on industry best practices
