Reporting to the Executive Chef, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Consistently offer professional, friendly, and proactive guest service while supporting fellow Colleagues.
- Conduct daily shift briefings with Kitchen and Stewarding Colleagues.
- Work across multiple kitchen stations, adapting to various outlets as business demands.
- Manage inventories, pricing, ordering, requisitioning, and the issuing of supplies and equipment for food production and chemicals and cleaning supplies for hotel cleanliness.
- Accurately cost menus and ensure alignment with budgetary guidelines.
- Work with team to inventory and track breakage of all China/Glass/Silver throughout the hotel.
- Ensure all Kitchen and Stewarding Colleagues are aware of standards and expectations through ongoing training and support.
- Liaise daily with Outlet Managers to keep open lines of communication regarding guest feedback.
- Maintain and enhance food products through creative menu development and presentation.
- Ensure proper rotation and storage of product, maintaining cleanliness and minimizing waste.
- Balance operational, administrative, and Colleague needs to ensure efficient kitchen performance.
- Ensure proper staffing and scheduling in accordance with productivity guidelines for kitchen and stewarding.
- Oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas, utensils, and equipment.
- Follow kitchen and stewarding policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Previous leadership experience in the Culinary field required.
- Versatility across multiple kitchen stations (Garde Manger, Hot Line, Banquets, etc.) highly preferred.
- Diploma/Certification in a Culinary discipline preferred.
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Windows applications required.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
- Highly responsible and reliable.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
Salary Range: $90,000 to $115,000 USD Gross per Annual
Visa: Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States
