Job Description
We are seeking a highly professional and detail-oriented Butler to join our esteemed team at Sofitel Dubai The Palm. As a Butler in our luxury establishment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional, personalized service to our discerning guests, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their stay.
- Anticipate and fulfill guests' needs with the utmost attention to detail and discretion
- Manage guest requests efficiently, including packing/unpacking, laundry services, and personal shopping
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless service delivery
- Maintain an organized and immaculate environment in guest suites and common areas
- Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and beverages as required
- Assist with event planning and execution for private functions
- Handle guest correspondence and manage schedules as needed
- Ensure all service standards are met and exceeded consistently
- Maintain accurate records of guest preferences and special requirements
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive and luxurious guest experience
- Adapt to changing situations and guest needs with flexibility and professionalism
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Butler or in a similar high-end hospitality role
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to anticipate guests' needs
- Proficiency in etiquette, protocol, and luxury service standards
- Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Problem-solving abilities and quick decision-making capabilities
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- Flexibility to work a rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
- Basic computer skills for guest correspondence and record-keeping
- Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
