Job Description
Bonjour! At Sofitel, hospitality is an art, and every guest experience begins the moment they arrive. As a Bell Captain, you will be the guiding presence that ensures each arrival and departure is seamless, welcoming, and memorable.
You will lead and inspire the Porter and Valet team, coordinating daily activities, VIP arrivals, and special events while keeping operations smooth and efficient throughout every shift.
With care and precision, you will manage luggage, valet services, and property movements, delivering attentive, personalised service that leaves a lasting impression on every guest.
Drawing on your expert knowledge of Sydney, you will assist guests with recommendations, promote hotel experiences, and maintain strong relationships with external partners to enhance every stay.
You will maintain a polished and organised Porter’s storeroom, collaborate across hotel departments, and embody the Sofitel Passion for Excellence, turning every detail into a moment of elegance and delight.
Qualifications
About You
You bring experience in luxury hospitality or high-end customer service, with the leadership skills to guide and inspire Porters and Valets, ensuring every guest experience is seamless and memorable. Organised, proactive, and calm under pressure, you thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing operations with elegance and efficiency.
Confident and polished, you communicate effortlessly with guests and colleagues, demonstrating impeccable presentation and professional demeanor. Flexible to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays, you bring knowledge of hotel procedures, valet operations, and local attractions to enhance every guest interaction.
You hold a valid Australian Driver’s License and full Australian working rights, allowing you to work with us without restriction.
