Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the day-to-day operations of the bar, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Lead, train, coach, and motivate bartenders and bar support team members.
- Ensure all beverages are prepared and served according to brand standards and recipes.
- Maintain exceptional guest service standards and resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.
- Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and manage stock rotation to minimize waste and shortages.
- Assist in controlling beverage costs, labor costs, and overall bar profitability.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, health and safety, and responsible alcohol service regulations.
- Support the development and implementation of cocktail menus, beverage programs, and special promotions.
- Conduct opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and reconciliation when required.
- Collaborate closely with the Food & Beverage management team to achieve operational objectives.
- Participate actively in the hotel's pre-opening phase, including recruitment, training, menu tastings, SOP development, and operational setup.
Qualifications
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Bar Supervisor, Head Bartender, or a similar leadership role.
- Previous experience in hotels, upscale restaurants, lifestyle venues, or high-volume bars preferred.
- Strong knowledge of spirits, wines, beers, cocktails, and current beverage trends.
- Proven leadership and team development skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Passion for guest service and hospitality.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficiency in English is highly desirable; additional languages are an asset.
