Job Description

As our Bar & Gaming Supervisor, you will be a visible, confident leader within TC’s Bar & Gaming Lounge, while also supporting service delivery across other food and beverage outlets as required. You’ll balance compliance with charisma, structure with warmth - creating an environment that feels welcoming, polished, and effortlessly controlled.

You will:

  • Supervise daily operations within TC’s Bar & Gaming Lounge, ensuring smooth service flow, compliance, and guest satisfaction
  • Lead, coach, and support a team of ambassadors to deliver warm, intuitive, and responsible service
  • Bring energy and presence to the floor - setting the tone through engagement, professionalism, and approachability
  • Uphold responsible service of alcohol and gaming, confidently managing guest behaviour and sensitive situations
  • Maximise guest experience and revenue through product knowledge, promotions, and natural suggestive selling
  • Maintain presentation, cleanliness, and operational standards aligned with Sofitel brand expectations
  • Support service across other food & beverage outlets when required, adapting seamlessly to different environments
  • Assist with stock control, cash handling, gaming machine operations, and shift leadership duties

Qualifications

What you will bring to the role:

  • Proven experience in a bar & gaming environment, with strong operational knowledge
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience within hospitality
  • Sound understanding of gaming machine operations and compliance requirements
  • Current RSA and RSG certification
  • Confident communication style, emotional intelligence, and the ability to lead diverse teams
  • A calm, professional approach under pressure and in complex guest situations
  • Flexibility to work across evenings, weekends, and public holidays
  • A genuine passion for service, atmosphere, and guest connection
  • Luxury hotel experience is advantageous, but presence, leadership, and mindset matter more than titles
