Job Description
Reporting to the Banquet Beverage Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Responsibilities
- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
- Assist guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful way
- Mix drinks and control the beverage stock as per guidelines
- Have full knowledge of the beverage menus being offered at the banquet
- Follow policies, procedures and service standards
- Have knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
- Available to work varied shifts based on business demands, including but not limited to, weekends and holidays
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. - Previous bartending experience preferred
- Previous Point of Sale System experience an asset
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
- Available to work varied shifts based on business demands, including but not limited to, weekends and holidays
Physical Demands
This position requires:
- Constant standing and walking throughout shift
- Frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
- Frequent kneeling, pushing and pulling up to 50 lbs
- Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
Required Education and Experience
- TABC Certification
- Texas Food Handlers Certification
