Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Sales Manager to join our growing sales team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this pivotal role, you will work alongside our Sales Manager to drive revenue growth, build strong client relationships, and execute strategic sales initiatives. You will be instrumental in supporting the achievement of our sales objectives while fostering a collaborative and innovative sales environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your leadership capabilities and make a meaningful impact on our organization's success.

  • Lead client meetings from initial consultation through proposal development, establishing quotes, negotiating pricing terms, and securing written contracts
  • Support the Sales Manager in achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets through strategic planning and consistent execution
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in rooms and banquet services by developing and implementing comprehensive action plans
  • Develop and refine sales materials, tools, and strategies to enhance customer engagement and increase contract closure rates
  • Coordinate and manage sales events, bridal fairs, and promotional activities to generate leads and strengthen brand presence
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of client accounts, contact information, activities, and business transactions within CRM and relevant software applications
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reports, analyzing performance metrics and providing actionable insights to leadership
  • Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries via email, phone, and in-person interactions, ensuring exceptional customer service
  • Support team members with guidance, training, and mentorship to foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth
  • Adhere to all departmental policies, procedures, and compliance requirements while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism

Qualifications

**Required Skills:**

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities with a customer-focused mindset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical capabilities with attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills with the ability to close deals
  • Organizational and planning skills with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously

**Experience:**

  • Minimum 2-3 years of sales experience, preferably in hospitality, hotel, or related service industry
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs
  • Experience in client relationship management and account maintenance
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating events or managing sales initiatives
  • Experience supporting senior management or working in a team-oriented sales environment

**Education:**

  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field is preferred

**Domain Expertise:**

  • Knowledge of the hospitality or hotel industry is highly desirable
  • Understanding of sales pipeline management and sales forecasting
  • Familiarity with contract negotiation and client proposal development
  • Knowledge of customer service best practices and service excellence standards
