Job Description

As the Assistant Director of Housekeeping you will be responsible for the day to day management of the housekeeping department.  You will continually focus on quality and contribute to the hotel profitability through effective cost controls.  You will also be responsible for developing and training ambassadors and ensuring that guest satisfaction and ambassador satisfaction goals are met.

What you will be doing:

Oversee the operational activities of the housekeeping department.

Manage budgets according to occupancy and forecasting.

Implement guidelines and policies and procedures.

Guide operations and establish a work environment which is conducive to achieving goals and objectives.

 

This position pays $70-75k.

 

 


Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

You will have at least 3 years previous Rooms division management experience .

You will have a four year degree or equivalent hospitality management experience.

Experience managing in a union environment.

Strong operational controls, budgeting, forecasting and scheduling skills.

Ability to work well in stressful and high pressure situations.

Multi-lingual and previous upscale management experience preferred.
