At Sofitel, our Engineering team works behind the scenes to ensure every VIP guest journey is seamless and exceptional where precision, discretion and attention to detail come together to create an effortlessly refined experience. As our Shift Technician, you play a crucial role in ensuring Sofitel’s facilities embody the elegance, comfort, and excellence our guests expect. Your work allows every space, guest rooms, public areas, and service facilities, to shine, creating a seamless and welcoming environment.

In this role, you will undertake essential maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, painting, HVAC, and general upkeep, responding promptly and thoughtfully to any requests. Your meticulous attention to detail extends to regular inspections of equipment, machinery, and systems, preventing issues before they arise and maintaining the highest standards of reliability.

You will efficiently manage tools, supplies, and materials, assist with event setups and room configurations, and ensure all work aligns with safety protocols and regulatory standards. Your presence ensures that every operational detail contributes to a flawless guest experience.

As a valued member of our Engineering team, you collaborate seamlessly with colleagues, communicate with clarity, and help create an atmosphere of effortless luxury. Your dedication ensures that every guest encounter, whether in a room, public space, or at a special event, is safe, comfortable, and truly memorable.

You bring a proactive, self-motivated approach to your work, taking pride in maintaining a seamless, safe, and welcoming environment. Previous hotel experience is highly valued, and expertise in painting or general maintenance is a distinct advantage.

Comfortable operating a variety of equipment and hand tools, you combine skill with care and attention to detail, ensuring every task is completed to the highest standard. Reliable, punctual, and adaptable, you thrive in a dynamic environment and are flexible to work a range of shifts as needed.

With strong written and verbal communication, you collaborate effortlessly with colleagues and contribute positively to a high-performing team, helping to uphold the elegance, comfort, and excellence synonymous with Sofitel.
